Surprised this is the first review. The man is a family man who has been in business a while. He is 100% honest and will do you right. He is in a small town and it may be a drive for some but well worth it. Best hourly rates of any garage I've ever been to. He has a full service garage with a handful of bays.
Honest and fairly priced. These guys really know their stuff. They will shoot you straight and do thier best to get you back on the road quickly. They have worked on my cars for years. When you drive as much as I do it is nice to know you have a team on your side to keep your car running right.
If you want people that care about you personally, and don't just want your business this is the place to go. They go out of their way to let you know exactly what the issues are with your car and what they would recommend in your situation(even if it means not fixing something right away). Will 100% recommend them to anyone looking for a mechanic.
Here is a personal situation that I had recently. I made a mistake in buying a vehicle on my own without having them check it out first. Brought it to Boyd's to have some work done. They helped me find out that it was a lemon (not worth the repairs necessary), and went way out of there way to help me come up with the best possible solution for me (probably spent tons of hours off the clock trying to help me find a vehicle that fit my needs that didn't need lots of repair work done).
Boyd's has been doing work on my cars/truck for the last four years. Not once have I second guessed anything he has said is wrong with my vehicles. He has always been fair and honest with me. When it comes to cost, he is usually cheaper than the dealerships that I used to take my vehicles too and more reliable. Boyd's garage is a place I would recommend my mother to.
